Who Are We?

More Than a Career... A Lifelong Community.

Whether you just recently hung up the hard hat or have been enjoying retirement for years, we are glad you found us. This website is the digital home for our community of former Shell Canada colleagues—a place to stay connected, share stories, and keep the spirit of our working years alive.

Founded in 1982, the Shell Oiltimers Club (Alberta) is where decades of shared history meet new beginnings. We are a social community dedicated to Shell retirees and their spouses, built on the belief that the friendships we forged during our careers should only get stronger in retirement.

Whether it’s a morning hike in the Rockies, a spirited game of pickleball, or a night out at the dinner theatre, our club is about staying active and staying connected. From our Calgary roots to our diverse volunteer initiatives, we provide a space to catch up with former colleagues, make new memories, and stay engaged with the industry that brought us together.

We are a registered non-profit society dedicated to the recreation and fellowship of Shell Canada retirees and their families. Our mission is simple: to afford every member the opportunity to remain part of the Shell family long after their final day of work. Join us as we continue to promote health, happiness, and heritage in our retirement years.
